Re-entry sucks.
We are home. The trip was uneventful and long. The kids all slept for 4 hours on the plane and we woke them up so that they could possibly sleep that night when we arrived home. It was a long day.
Now we are in da house. We are tired and grumpy. We are in major survival mode. We concentrate on eating, drinking, pooping, and sleeping. The children cry and we all wake up too early. There is no food. K. and I both showered and the kids had baths and that was a major accomplishment. That is all.
Posted by grrlTravels at February 24, 2008 11:27 PMWelcome home. Be gentle and take good care.
Posted by: Jen at February 24, 2008 11:45 PMTake it easy. You just took two little kids to China and came back with three. I would have lost my sanity. I bet you haven't lost so much as a sock.
Welcome home.
Welcome back. I am glad the trip home was uneventful. That is a blessing.
Posted by: dana at February 25, 2008 9:02 AMWelcome home and congratulations all over again. Enjoy the family cocoon.
Posted by: atomic mama at February 25, 2008 10:05 AMWelcome home! Uneventful is good - you survived.
Posted by: Judy at February 25, 2008 10:06 AMWelcome home to the family of 5!!! Personally, I think that the jetlag flying back from China was the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life. Don't push yourself, do the best you can!

Posted by: OmegaMom at February 25, 2008 12:32 PMglad that you're home! this morning i kept thinking, i wonder if they're sleeping, i wonder if they slept last night...lots of thoughts about SLEEP!!
Posted by: heather at February 25, 2008 2:16 PMYay for home! If you're all clean, I think you're doing pretty well. Get some rest and let us know how things are going later.
Posted by: Sister Carrie at February 25, 2008 3:46 PMWelcome home. You survived the plane! You're not expected to do much more than survive right now. Going from two to three is an adjustment all in itself.
Posted by: Heather Ann at February 26, 2008 8:25 AMThose first two weeks returning back to your regular time zone is brutal. I am hoping all of you adjust soon.
I selfishly read your blog while you were in China and did not post. Bad Bad Bad. I do want to express, though, that I am very happy for you and K. Mao Mao appears to be a bright, sweet little boy, and I know you will love to see him come out of his shell and show his true self. :) Thank you for blogging while in China.
Posted by: ashley at February 26, 2008 6:26 PMRe-entry is always awful. Here is hoping you guys get settled in. I can't wait to hear that Z and MM are competing to see who can eat the most.
Posted by: lorrie at February 26, 2008 7:53 PMI'm thinking of you and hoping you can settle back into a good routine soon.
