I submitted this for the assignment. I love this photo! K. was tickling them. (He is my photography assistant, when he's around.) I was going for bright, natural, gorgeous light.


The light is coming in from the skylight and illuminating her face.


E. is slightly out of focus. I just love his expression. (Ignore the Little Dutch Boy hair—we're trying to.)


The side of her face is a little blown out (still working on that!) but I love Z.'s expression. She looks so big!


I was trying for a silhouette, but my subjects are never as dark as I'd like them. There are windows on three sides of this room, plus a skylight, so I think there was just too much light bouncing around.

I love your pictures...you can tell it's "natural light".

Plus, I think Z looks so GREAT!!!!

I second Z looking great! Shes so beautiful and i see a hint of a chubby chin.

Great photos all around. What wonderful expressions. Those charming personalities really shine through.

By the way, I showed these photos to C, and he was so happy to see Z looking so healthy and big. I guess I probably have not shown him photos, so he hasn't seen Z since the summer. We both love that expression in the close-up of her face.

The photos are great. My favorite is the one of the kids getting tickles. It's so spontaneous and delicious. Your kids are sweet. I am going to follow up on your links to the on line class -- what a great idea to get fcused (if you'll excuse the pun). Pink
